PANGEA CARES AT A GLANCE

In Pangea’s early days, we recognized the needs in the communities that we serve in
Chicago, Indianapolis, and Baltimore. So we launched Pangea Cares, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

We are committed to healing our communities from the inside out. We at Pangea want to do more than just build and renovate apartments—we want to help build and renovate the neighborhoods around them as well.

With the Pangea Cares initiative, the Pangea Family can work to make a meaningful social
impact by tackling three pillars of community service: Food & Nutrition, Education Enrichment,
and Community Development.

Food & Nutrition

With the help of the community, Pangea Cares has participated in, and even managed, events that have helped to make nutritious and filling foods available to those who need it. Through partnerships with The Greater Chicago Food Depository and local shelters as well as through initiatives led internally, we have made an impact on the communities we serve, as well as our residents.

Education Enrichment

We believe that our future leaders, with the right foundation, are poised to become agents of change in their families, neighborhoods, and wider communities. By investing in our future today, we can continue towards a brighter future tomorrow. In order to further this goal, we have created several programs within Pangea Cares to support education of youth in our communities.

Community Development

Pangea Cares believes a beautiful and safe neighborhood brings communities together. We strive to make each of our neighborhoods one that residents love to live in and can be proud of. We have done so by participating in local neighborhood events and leading clean-up efforts in local gardens and community areas. At Pangea Cares we are always finding ways to give back to our community.
